Who We Are

Welcome to the web site of  the SE Wisconsin Miniature Equine Club. Our members have a wide variety of interests regarding their minis. Some have only one horse, while others have many. Several of the members enjoy showing their horses both locally and nationally. We have folks that enjoy cart driving, taking their horses in local parades and those that simply love their horses for the gentle creatures that they are.

Mission Statement

SEWMEC was formed in 1996 for the specific purpose of having fun!  Our goal is to promote and improve the quality of miniature equines in southeast Wisconsin through development and encouragement of good sportsmanship and fellowship in recreation and in useful work.  We would like to provide a forum for the exchange of information, products, and resources necessary and of interest to mini enthusiasts.  We will assist members in improving their skills and knowledge of the care, training, and handling of minis.  We would further like to educate and inform the public about the virtues and values of minis for recreation and work and to encourage a better market for minis in Wisconsin.
