President: Pat McGuire, called the meeting to order at Porks-223 W. Main Street – Hortonville, WI
Members Present: Susan, Jazlynn, Lori & Pat McGuire, Carol Whitman, Cindy Draper, Denise Kasper, Sandy Navarre, Greg & Shari Depas, Pollee Bugni, & Kathy Henn.
Treasure Report: Lori Knutson was not present. We reviewed last check book balance $6,846.51 less Insurance paid out and the brochures, Wisconsin Horseman’s News publication of Show bill about 105 -110.00 dollars. Kathy H does not have a receipt on it yet.
Secretary’s Report: Copies handed out of last meeting - minutes, by Kathy H. It was too loud in our area to read them and be heard. There were no questions or corrections. It was too busy of a conversation area to have the Treasure or Secretary’s Reports - Approved or Seconded. We moved on to the Old Business.
Old Business: Sandy Navarre will be putting the Show Sponsor ship on the website and review show info.
Logo: We were shown the 2 club Logos by Lori McGuire, and voted. It was unanimous. It is shown on the website. The Logo is a new more modern curves and emblem. “Very nice work Lori.” She wins a free membership for 2012. We are open to suggestion on color. It was decided to go with all one color that contrasts with the item it is put on. This to be approved by the board of directors and officers.
Open Show: I was mentioned that we should have music during the show on the PA System. Shari Depas will discuss this with Manitowoc Fair Grounds.
Food: Questions we need to connect with JoAnn Spransy. The pre entry may help in deciding how much food is needed.
Entry Form: The pre entry show entry will need to be postmarked no later than May 24th, 2011. They go to Pollee Bugni.
Discussion: Ribbons and trophies. Sandy Navarre has the extra ribbons and trophies to give to the show committee. Placing to sixth place.
Time was flying and we had to get back to the Great Lakes Equine Wellness Center for our tour at 2:30 PM
Next meeting: 3rd week end in May - Saturday May 21st at Greg & Shari Depas Clinic in DePere, WI
