The High Point Youth trophy was won by Emily Pearce and Little Spunky Dude.
A pink ribbon was also awarded to all the Youth Participants simply to reward their tenacity & enthusiasm! It’s one thing to get out and show on a perfectly gorgeous day – and quite another on a less than perfect day such as we experienced this year.
Another kind of award should have been given to one of the mothers who showed with her child in the pouring rain. This gal showed us all what dedication and follow-through is all about. Kristine Yeadon was an inspiration to us all – and a great help throughout the entire show. We are very happy to have this family as members of our club.
It takes a lot of volunteers to pull off an event like this, and the club thanks Rosie Curtis and EVERYONE who gave their time, energy, and donations – including some of the members of Beaver Creek Saddle Club who provided the food stand.
