1	Minnesota Miniature Horse Club The Minnesota Miniature Horse Club was organized in 1986 by a group of families that had the common interest of miniature horses. The club has grown from the original 10 charter families to over 100 families today! That number continues to grow with more people finding the miniature horse a part of their lives. MMHC is affiliated with both the American Miniature Horse Association and the American Miniature Horse Registry and welcomes all miniature horse owners to the club.
2	Heart of America Miniature Equine Started by Lowell Boone, H.A.M.E. has the unique distinction of being the first AMHA sanctioned club in the United States. To say that Lowell Boone worked hard to organize the club would be an understatement. From well before the first meeting of 30 people in Peoria on February 1981, until the day he died, Lowell dedicated his life to his minis and the club.
